Want to Hear God Better? Try these 3 Steps.

Points of Decision to increase your ability to hear God more clearly. Walking by faith is a daily decision to take God at His Word. It’s not based on what we see but rather what God’s Word says, and choosing to believe it, no matter what you see in the natural realm. 

Everything starts with a decision, and change comes as a result of discipline and consistency.


We learn God’s Voice by building our prayer life. Stick with it even if you miss days. Eventually, you’ll become used to the process. It takes time. 


​Pray more, build your lifestyle around prayer, and make a commitment to put God first and make your prayer life a priority. Praying at times when it’s inconvenient, building a new altar unto God through your commitment and consistency in prayer. You will begin to see results over time. Begin to journal your thoughts, and any new revelations that God gives you, as well as the answers to your prayers and what you are learning during this process. You will begin amazed at how much you don't remember if you don’t journal. Over time, you will begin to see consistency and repeated patterns and that’s the confirmation that it’s God because he will speak always according to His word until you begin to understand.


​Seek the Matter Out that’s on your heart, allow God to unveil and r wall the hidden things to you. The Bible says in Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honor of kings is to search out a matter. Sometimes we need to sit with the Lord and allow Him to speak to our hearts.  There’s so much that He wants to reveal. He wants a relationship with us.


​Pick a day weekly to Fast & Pray. Fasting causes the flesh to come under submission to God’s plan, and it builds endurance in walking with God. Fasting is a great way to begin to prepare for new endeavors and to tune our spirits more to God’s Word. It’s difficult to grow without fasting & prayer.

Nothing just happens. As we commit to our prayer lives and growing spiritually, God can trust us more, and it builds a capacity to hold whatever God wants to put in our hands. The Bible says we will prosper and be in health even as our souls are prosperous. 1 John 3:2

Make a decision today to begin to grow spiritually and experience God’s best in every area of your life.
